Carolina Postal Credit Union is not only the largest Postal credit union in North Carolina, CPCU has been serving its USPS members the longest!

Carolina Postal Credit Union was chartered October 20, 1934 in Charlotte, North Carolina to serve the Postal employees of the Charlotte area, but now serve all of North Carolina and part of South Carolina (the USPS Mid-Carolinas District).

In addition to the NC & Mid-Carolinas district USPS employees, Carolina Postal also serves active & retired Federal employees.  Family & Household members of both NC USPS & Federal employees may also join Carolina Postal Credit Union.

Carolina Postal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our members.  CPCU members' deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 (including IRAs) by the United States Government Agency, the NCUA.
