Savings Account (Share)

What does "Share" represent?

Members of Carolina Postal Credit Union, are member owners of a not for profit organization. Therefore, you own a share of the credit union. This is the reason a share savings is required with each account.

In order to enjoy the benefits of Carolina Postal Credit Union, you must first open a Share Savings Account. This savings account signifies your membership in the Credit Union and provides you with the opportunity to vote in annual elections and the ability to have access to all of our products and services.

To open a Savings Account, please print this form and return to CPCU with a minimum deposit of $26. Please also include a copy of your driver's license.

If you wish to make a change to your current account, complete this form and return to CPCU.

Christmas Club Accounts

Our Christmas Club Accounts help you save for all of your holiday expenses. Through Payroll Deduction or other regular deposits, you can save all year long and it's painless. The balance is transferred to your checking or savings account in early November, allowing you plenty of time to shop for gifts.

$25 minimum balance required

No monthly service charge

Withdrawals are prohibited unless you close the account

$25 fee will be charged it the account is closed early.

Closed accounts can not be re-opened until the next club year begins.

Youth Accounts

We offer two different youth accounts that are designed just for them, and a teen/young adult blog. Each youth program offers a quarterly newsletter, special promotions throughout the year and saving tips that are helpful and fun. You will also find interactive websites for each program as well as links that are safe and that they will enjoy. Kirby Kangaroo is for our members who are 0-12 years old.

CU Succeed
CU Succeed is for our members who rare 13-18 years old.

Brass CU
Brass CU is for our members who are 16 - 23 years old.
